Business card organizer
Every person you've met, in one place.
Sort the people you meet into Leads, Customers or Network, with a note on each, and find anyone in seconds. uKeep is a business card organizer for iPhone and Android: scan the card, pick where it goes, and it's organized.
How it works
- 1
Scan the card
Point your camera at it. uKeep reads the name, title, company, phone numbers, email and address.
- 2
Pick a category
Leads, Customers, Network, or one you make up. Add a note on where you met while you're at it.
- 3
Find anyone in seconds
Search by name, company or job title, or tap a category to see only those cards.
From card binder to digital rolodex
A binder or a box keeps cards safe. It doesn't help you find the one you need, or do anything with it once you have. Here's the difference, job by job. If you're starting from a pile, our guide on how to organize business cards walks through it.
| When you need to | A card binder | uKeep |
|---|---|---|
| Find one person | Flip through every sleeve | Search by name, company or job title |
| Group people | One order, usually by surname | Categories like Leads, Customers and Network |
| Remember why you met | Ink on the back of the card | A note saved with the contact |
| Get in touch | Type the number into your phone | Call, email or WhatsApp from the card |
| Lose your phone or the binder | The cards are gone | Sign in on a new phone and they're there |
Everything a rolodex did, and more
Categories your way
Start with Leads, Customers and Network, then add your own. A new category goes first in the row, so it's right there for the next card.
A note on every card
Write where you met and what you talked about. It stays with the contact, not on the back of a piece of paper.
Search that knows who's who
Type part of a name, a company or a job title and the matching cards show up as you type.
A color for every card
Each card gets its own color in your collection, and you can change it, so the important ones stand out.
In your phone's contacts too
Save any card to your address book in one tap, so the person's name shows up when they call.
Backed up to your account
Your collection is tied to your account, not the phone, and it stays yours: we never sell it.
Questions
What's the best way to organize business cards?
Scan them into an app as soon as you get them, put each one in a category that matches why you'll contact them (a lead, a customer, someone in your network), and add a note on where you met. Then you search instead of sorting. uKeep does all three in one step for each card.
Is uKeep a digital rolodex?
Yes. It holds every card you scan in one collection, sorted by category and searchable by name, company or job title, on your iPhone or Android phone.
Can I make my own categories?
Yes. uKeep starts with Leads, Customers and Network, and you can add as many of your own as you like, such as an event name or a project.
What can I search my business cards by?
Name, company and job title. Tapping a category at the top of My Collection narrows the list to that category.
Should I keep the paper cards after scanning them?
Only if you want the original design. uKeep saves the details from the card, not the photo, so once a card is scanned and checked, everything you need is in the app.
How do I start with uKeep?
Download the app on iPhone or Android and scan your first card in under a minute. Bringing uKeep to a team? Book a demo and we'll set it up with you.
